National Association of Hepatitis Task Forces: Who we are

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever does."
- Margaret Mead

Who we are

We are a group of concerned citizens, patients, health leaders that have voluntarily taken up the banner to form community partnerships, alliances and task forces in our respective states, counties and cities throughout the United States in an endeavor to bring services to those affected by hepatitis, enhance access to care and public health reform. We are here to meet the needs of local communities from the bottom on up while building a united voice to rally support for those efforts and utilizing the latest technology to bridge the sharing of information, communication of ideas and strategies for generations to come.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide support, networking for developing, and existing community hepatitis task forces, reinforcing local efforts for better access to care for those affected and deliver greater tools to encourage the medical and scientific community throughout the United States while acting as a common voice at local levels and nationally to government, industry, corporations and media for greater involvement in addressing community outreach and research needs thus facing the challenges of hepatitis including de-stigmatizing these major health concerns on behalf of patients and their families.
